I began providing therapy in 2006 and have been licensed since 2011.  I have extensive experience working in community mental health where I had the opportunity to become certified in various Evidenced-Based Practices including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), and Seeking Safety. I am also trained in EMDR which is a modality that I'm able to use for treating trauma and other presenting issues.

After the birth of my daughter in 2014, I took a special interest in Perinatal Mental Health.  So many women experience Post Partum Depression and Anxiety, and I felt connected to helping women through these very common challenges.  In 2016 I began to work for the First 5 LA funded Welcome Baby program as the Clinical Supervisor for the El Nido Family Centers-Valley Presbyterian Hospital.  It was with Welcome Baby that I was able to focus on growing as a Reflective Practice Supervisor and helping parents with everything related to pregnancy, birth of a child, and child development.

In addition to my experience with Children, Adolescents, and in Perinatal Mental Health, I have experience and enjoy working with adults suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Couples and Marital issues, Adjustment difficulties, trauma, Eating Disorders, and Women's issues.

I service all of California virtually (Southern California, Northern California, Los Angeles County, Ventura County, San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley).  Currently all sessions are held virtually, but I hope to resume office visits in Porter Ranch, CA in the near future. 

 

My rate is $200 per 45 minute session.  I am currently contracted with Lyra Health and Cigna. I will be able to see clients in network for Aetna and Optum/United Behavioral Health beginning July 1, 2022.  For any other insurance plans, clients pay out of pocket and I provide a superbill for clients to submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement.  Please contact me by phone if you're interested in more information.
